60,000 lb (267 kN) thrust and pullback with 9,000 ft·lb (12,240 N·m) rotational torque—the powerful combination you need for outstanding productivity on big installation jobs.
Choice of a 190-gross-hp (142-kW) Tier 3 or 200-gross-hp (149-kW) Tier 4 Cummins® diesel engine.
Double rack-and-pinion thrust drive is field-proven and engineered to push/pull through long, tough bores.
Ditch Witch drill pipes are manufactured to be stronger and more durable. The JT60 has three drill pipe options that you keep your drills and business moving forward.
Open-top vise wrenches are angled toward the operator, lending an excellent view of the tool joint when making up and breaking out pipes.
Dual-pivot drill frame allows for steep entry angles without raising the tracks off the ground—no need to constantly readjust the machine even when the terrain is muddy or steep; operator station stays level for maximized comfort.
Fully enclosed, climate-controlled cab features instrument panel gauges positioned for visibility, with conveniently placed controls and an excellent view of the tool joint.
Operator’s station features an ergonomic seat, color LCD engine display, higher visibility, and an intuitive joystick that controls all drilling functions.

Specifications are general and subject to change without notice. If exact measurements are required, equipment should be weighed and measured. Due to selected options, delivered equipment may not necessarily match that shown.
Proven, industry-leading pipe-loading system is simple, easy to use and is designed to increase productivity, saving you time, money and effort.
Wireless operation system gives you remote control of ground drive, stabilizers, dual pivot, and stake down functionality allowing for more efficient jobsite setup.
Increase uptime with a simple yet durable, customer-driven design.
Dual rear independent stabilizers give you the confidence to set up on uneven terrain.
Easy to service, with all daily maintenance points in one location that is easily accessed through removable doors.

Onboard, enclosed 150-gpm (560-l/min) fluid pump for productive drilling at greater distances; flow rate can be operated simultaneously with thrust/pullback and rotation.
Simple, intuitive carve mode reduces operator fatigue; compatible with superior TriHawk® HD housings and bits for exceptional productivity.
Heavy-duty, planetary-driven anchor system enables you to use full machine thrust in tough jobsite conditions, improving productivity.
Two-speed thrust drive motors provide exceptional low-speed drilling control and the ability to reach the high speeds necessary for rapidly loading drill pipes.
Open-top vise wrenches are angled toward the operator, lending an excellent view of the tool joint when making up and breaking out pipes.
Wireline platform option available.

With the new JT60 horizontal directional drill, you’ll recognize many of the features you’ve grown to appreciate: the proven, intuitive electronics and the rugged and reliable undercarriage, to name two. And in no time you’ll appreciate the JT60’s more powerful rotational torque—an increase of 4,000 ft·lb (5423 N·m) over its predecessor the JT4020—and 60,000 lb (267 kN) of thrust and pullback. It’s the more powerful combination you needed—the combination you asked for—to work more efficiently with less downtime.
